Caroline and Austen had a beautiful wedding at Hemingbough in historic St. Francisville. Storm clouds gathered right before the ceremony, but only a few sprinkles ever fell. The setting was splendid and I love the pop of the bright orange dresses. My favorite moment was the string orchestra rendition of "Sweet Caroline" while guests sang. When I have a bride that calls me that has no tie to Lake Providence, it's always exciting for me. Stacey and John came over to do their bridal and engagement photos and I instantly loved them. They are such a sweet couple and have been together for a very long time. It was a hot day in June for this wedding set in Calhoun, Louisiana. Loved the Harley! Here are a few of my favorites. srt

McKenzie Meredith

This was our fourth wedding in May. Four weddings in a row in one month can be daunting, but each one is so unique that it makes it fun. This was my first time to shoot a wedding at Jesus the Good Shepherd in Monroe. The church was exquisite with gorgeous stained glass windows. The reception was held at the Ouachita Grand Plaza. Katherine and Scott followed me to the Forsythe park for some fun post ceremony shots as Mr. and Mrs. Here are some of my favorites. srt

Emma Kate

This is Emma Kate. She is the beautiful granddaughter to Mrs. Carole & Mr. Thomas who are my next door neighbors. I am so blessed to have them next door. I have been using their yard, porches, swings, trees, you name it for almost 8 years now. They never know when I'll be there, but they never complain and always welcome my clients (except for when I forget to turn the sprinklers back on!). Seriously, I don't know if my business would be where it is today without the setting of their yard. There is no way to thank them daily, but I thought a session with their first granddaughter might be a gesture of thanks. She is adorable. I look forward to more as she grows. Whatley Jones

It is always special to get to do a wedding in Lake Providence. It is hard to believe that I am photographing girls that were so young when I first moved here. Time flies! I was able to do Chloe's sister's wedding several years ago, and I think she may have been my very first. Many thanks to the Whatleys for asking me to do it again. The wedding was sweet and simple and Chloe was all smiles. Love the cowboy hats. srt
