baby in a TUTU

There is something about little girls and tutus that make me smile. Abigail couldn't have been more precious. She was all dressed up and loving every minute of the attention she was getting. This storyboard says it all. srt

charlie

This is Charlie at 6 months. This was his first outside session with me. He did so good and is just getting so big. His mom really wanted a tooth shot to show off his first two teeth. I think this is the only one I got. srt

This is a TEST

People are always commenting to me about images from the blog, but rarely do any of you leave comments. So this is a test for all the blog stalkers I have out there. I want to see how many of you will leave a comment in a 48 hour period. All you have to do is click on the word comment under this post and tell me who you are. You do not have to be a subscriber to leave a comment, but leave your name in the post or it will say anonymous. Who knows maybe I'll throw your name all in a hat and give away something fun. Comments are fun because they let me know who is looking and which images people like. Thanks so much for checking things out. srt

Carol Ann

It seems like seniors have dominated the blog lately, so I didn't want any of you to think that I had forgotten how to capture precious children. This was my first chance to shoot Carol Ann, and she really loved the spotlight. This is a new line of storyboards that I am offering. The words below are causing great pleasure, charming, wrapped around one's finger. I think that is exactly how her daddy would describe her. srt

Lori

Lori is one of the last seniors that I've shot this spring, so she had the advantage of seeing everyone's images before we had her session. She knew what I was trying to capture and was willing to try anything. It was a lot of fun revisiting some of the places I had already been, but putting a new twist to them. Here are my favorites. srt

Alyssa & Chance

This couple came from Shreveport to Monroe for me to shoot their engagement session. We had a great time driving around Monroe finding some interesting locations. They really had a blast with it and we got some great shots. Here are some of my favorites. srt

Luke

Luke lives on a beautiful part of Lake Providence which is actually known as Grant's Canal. It was a perfect backdrop that adds emotion to the images because it is his home. I must add that horses are not my specialty. Not that I can't photograph them, but I am extremely afraid of them. Luke got a few good laughs as I tried to avoid the curious creatures. Despite the fear, I was able to capture a few good ones with his horse. Here are my favorites. srt

Michael J.

Michael J. has such a special place in my heart. He has been such a great next door neighbor and friend to my son Jase. Thanks Michael for always making Jase feel like he is important. We will miss you next year. Here are my favorites. srt

Jon Jon

I must say, I enjoyed this shoot. Not only was Jon Jon incredibly easy to capture, he was willing to try some unusual locations. I did learn that he wasn't going to scare off any snakes for me. I think I might have to let Hollister see these. Here are my favorites. srt

Kelsey

Kelsey came over from Bastrop for her senior portraits. With 25 mile per hour wind gusts, we had a challenge trying not to look windblown. It was a beautiful day and the photos turned out great inspite of the wind. Kelsey, your smile is contagious. Here are my favorites. srt

Stephen

I think Stephen decided on this shoot that being a model wouldn't be too bad. He loved the attention and it was obvious that the camera loved him. He took some incredible shots and really had fun with it. He was brave enough to climb my burn pile. How awesome is that shot. Thanks Stephen. Here are my favorites. srt
