Sam

Sam was my first senior boy of the season to shoot. And let me say, he was a great one to start with. Most boys show up not at all interested in their session. But Sam definitely had some ideas and was more than willing to follow me around town. Sam, thanks so much for being such a willing subject. Here are my favorites. srt

Brittany

I just don't know that I have ever had this much fun shooting seniors. I don't know if it's the combination of new things I've learned or just having some seniors who are willing to trust me in different settings. Brittany was no exception. She was a lot of fun. Here are my favorites. srt

I just loved the truck in this one. It was by accident, but I love it.

Garrett & Lu

There is something about sharing in the celebration when a couple gets engaged that excites me. But this engagement, is beyond exciting. I have known Lura Margaret and Garrett for over 12 years and they are so special to me. We have all been waiting for this for quite a while. Garrett & Lu, thank you so much for wanting me to be a part of this wedding. It meant the world to me that you made that happen. And thank you for letting me do my thing with you. These photos are amazing. To me they truly reflect how much fun the two of you are and how much you love each other. These are just a few of my favorites. srt

Easter Baby

There is nothing like celebrating a holiday with a baby. Gracen Belle is almost 6 months old, and we are enjoying every minute we have with her. Amazingly, this is her first post on the blog. I haven't been a very good Aunt when it comes to showing her off. I have definitely photographed her, but I just haven't managed to get her on the blog. But get ready, my plan is for you to see a lot more of her. These are some of my favorites from Easter Sunday. srt

Rebecca

I hope to show you several seniors that I have been working with the past few weeks. Rebecca was just my second this spring. I think that I surprised Rebecca with how much fun you can have at a photo shoot. She really warmed up to the camera. Here are a few of my favorites. srt

Christa

Well, I had my first full week of senior portraits and am so excited to start sharing them with you. Christa was my first session, and we had so much fun. I really asked her to get out of the box with me and let me be creative with her. She was amazing. I asked her to get in some unusual places, and she really trusted me. I think her images are incredible. Thanks Christa for being such a willing subject. I hope you enjoy them. srt

Cindi & Nathan at Bald Head

Many of you may not know that I actually got the opportunity to shoot an engagement session on the last day of my conference. The timing of this just worked out perfectly. My conference ended on early Saturday morning, so Cindi and Nathan decided to ferry over to Bald Head and spend the day with me there. Cindi was my childhood best friend. We met when I was three years old and I spent many summers with her family in Wilmington. Unfortunately we don't get to see each other very often, so I was thrilled to get to spend the day with her and Nathan. Years may have passed as we have grown older, but time with her took me back to sweet sweet memories. It was just another way God showed me in that week, the blessings I have been given over the years. I don't ever want to take one for granted. Cindi, thanks for being a part of my life changing experience, and thanks for sharing your precious Nathan with me. I think I captured your love perfectly. srt
